Sourcing your products from the China wholesale markets means margins you can't find elsewhere, margins which will skyrocket your profits and allow you to dominate your market.

China has been described as the world's factory.

It might well be re-named China Wholesale Inc.

The phenomenal economic growth in China, typified by the rise of Shanghai - now the world's biggest city, in the world's biggest country - will have an ever-increasing effect on world trade, and
on the world of re-selling on the Internet.

China manufactures for the world, and anyone looking to source products just has to start their search in the China wholesale markets. And that means me, and probably you as well.

Many US re-sellers are still convinced that the way to a quick fortune is to go to China, find the guy who makes shoes for Gucci or handbags for Prada, and persuade him to run off an extra few
hundred.

A less-reputable China wholesale manufacturer might do this, but the product will not bear the coveted label. You might manage to import the goods into the US, but no way can you sell them -
legally - as brand-name products, even if they are made by the same manufacturer as the genuine product.

Beware the so-called "grey market". The Brand name companies are becoming ever-more aggressive in pursuing through the courts anyone infringing their copyright.

In most manufacturing sectors, China is a volume producer, which means that you will always be facing high minimum order quantities, typically thousands of units, which make it seem a
no-go area for the solitary trader of modest means. But there is a solution to this problem, as you will see later.

China already has a good reputation for quality clothing, shoes, and basic commodities, but increasingly China wholesalers are turning to high-technology products.

The good news is that the China wholesale manufacturers and the agents are very clued-up on the US market, and very quick to respond to requests for sample products and price and delivery
quotations. The really good news is that there is usually an unbelievably margin, so if you have the bankroll and the expertise you could really make a lot of money at this.

So what about a plan of action?

If the China wholesale market excites you, you really can't do without the services of a local China-based agent.

He is the guy who has personal contact with all the manufacturers and factory owners. He knows the China wholesale world intimately - he knows the best sources for all the products. He acts as the middleman and effectively as the purse-holder, and you will need such an expert to guide you through the minefield that is the Chinese-US tax issue.

He will ensure that the product gets shipped on time, and most importantly can check on the quality of the product before it is shipped.

These Chinese export agents are monitored and encouraged financially by their Government to promote China wholesale business overseas, so you should be able to find a reputable one without any problem.

The bottom line is - if you're serious about sourcing goods from China in volume, then you really can't do the business without a good China-based agent.
You just have to invest the time to go over to China, ideally when one of the big trade fairs or conventions are taking place. (You can easily find this information on your favorite Search Engine).

Here you can meet with the agents, who can introduce you to the factory owners, who will invite you to the factory to see the product being made, and will probably give you an on-the-spot quotation.

You will find, as I did, that much business in China is still conducted on a personal-relationship basis, so if you don't make the personal contacts and establish and cultivate relationships in the China wholesale world, then you probably won't thrive in China.

If you simply haven't got the time or resources to establish personal contacts in China, then you could look for a good US based Chinese agent or broker - ideally one based in your own city or State.(Again, you can find one using the Search Engines).
You may be lucky and find one who has good contacts in China, and he can guide you through much of the bureaucracy involved in importing from a China wholesaler.

Find out who he has represented before, and be sure to contact this person or business to check out your agent or broker.

There is an excellent resource on the internet with a lot of expertise in sourcing China wholesale products. This is the website at www.alibaba.com, which offers excellent advice, and can immediately supply details of Chinese manufacturers for your chosen product.

So there are 3 levels at which you can get involved with the China wholesale markets - the 3 paths to enlightenment and profit as we might call them.

At the bottom level,if you just want to get a feel for what is available, then spend some time on research at www.Alibaba.com - a great resource which can show you the incredible range of products available, and which can put you in contact with agents or manufacturers in the China wholesale business.

At a slightly more ambitious level, if you are committed to doing business long-term, then you could look for a reliable US-based Chinese agent or broker, who for a fee or commission will ease your way into the often-baffling world of importing goods from China.

And the serious marketers will jump in at the top level, and get themselves over to China, the sooner the better, in order to establish those long-term relationships with those active in the China wholesale world.

Relationships which will reap rich rewards for years to come.

If you aren't big enough or confident enough to face this on your own, then find a few other re-sellers in the same market - or related market - as yourself, and pool your time and resources.
Whatever it takes, get into this lucrative market place - the potential profits are HUGE!

China and its manufacturers will have an enormous impact on the Internet re-selling world over the next 5 years.

It is already starting to happen, and the time to get involved is now.

The guy who sources the product at the lowest price is the guy who wins, particularly on the Internet.

And that lowest price will almost certainly be provided by a Chinese manufacturer.

If you're still not persuaded to check out the fabulous opportunities in the China wholesale markets, then you should certainly have a look at the best resource on the internet for sourcing products for reselling - just go to http://www.wholesale-dropship-researchproduct.com/wholesaleinfo.html

With the insane amount of hype surrounding David Beckhams debut in the MLS and America, everyone has been mezmerized by Beckhams international stardom. Furthermore, with his lovely wife, Victoria, by his side, I dont see how anyone could be anything but ecstatic by their arrival. However, as a result of all this, one question has been left unanwered, even by the most cynical critics. That question is whether or not the MLSs inclusion of David Beckham is a good thing. Heres what I think:

For Soccer:

David Beckham coming to the MLS is great for soccer. Some say that losing such a great player and star will somehow hurt the European soccer scene. But that is not going to happen. Not only is the best soccer still being played in Europe, but also the number of superstars in its respective leagues is rising daily. Yes, Beckham is a force to be reckoned with, on and off the field. But with players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldhino Gaucho, Lionel Messi and Steven Gerrard filling Beckhams shoes, there are still plenty of quality players to captivate the soccers viewing public. So, no, Europe is not going to suffer. Just think if Barry Bonds left the MLB. Is he a great player? Of course! But the league wouldnt be all that different if he were to leave. The other superstars would pick up the slack.

On the other hand, the MLS is going to benefit beyond anything it could possibly imagine. Not only is Beckham a great player on the field, but his rockstar-like popularity off of it will bring hoards of new viewers to the MLS. Opponents of this notion may say that international superstars have come to the MLS in the past, making very little impact on the progress of the MLS in America. Very true. But, usually international players who make the transition are very much past their prime. Take for instance Youri Djorkaeff, Roberto Donadoni and Lothar Mattheus. Every single one of these players was a great player in his day. But when they were in the MLS, they were over the hill. None had stellar performances in the MLS and each retired soon after arriving. Conversely, Beckham is still in his prime. Last year, due in large part to his efforts, Real Madrid won the Spanish La Liga championship. Also, in his absence from the English national team, the Three Lions suffered tremendously; something that went away upon Beckhams return. His picture perfect cross to Peter Crouch in Englands Euro 2008 qualifier against Estonia is a skillful reflection of just how good Beckham still is. You would be hard pressed to find anyone that can deliver a cross like that. So, this move is great for the MLS. They are getting a player with absolutely brilliant skill who will also bolster the league with his fame.

For Beckham:

The MLS is undoubtedly going to benefit from this move, but will Beckham benefit as well? Well, yes and no. His wallet is definitely not going barren anytime soon, what with the 5-year, $250 million contract he signed with the LA Galaxy (something that has not gone unnoticed by his wife Posh Spice who is known for living up to her ritzy name). Moreover, his children will probably benefit as well. While England is by no means a country in dire straits, the US is the most powerful country in the world and offers its citizens countless opportunities. Growing up in America will allow the Beckham children every chance they could ever want.

However, in terms of his career, David Beckham made the wrong move. As previously mentioned, Beckham is still as skillful as ever. And lets face it, the MLS is an inferior league to the giants in Europe. So, I feel, as do many serious soccer fans, that Beckhams introduction to the MLS is sort of a slap in the face. It is just sad. He is simply too good for the MLS. Imagine if Michael Jordan had left the NBA after his 6th successive NBA title to play in the Italian basketball league. Murmurs of say it aint so would be heard all around the country. A similar situation is unfolding in Europe. European soccer fans cannot believe that Beckham would stoop to the MLSs level. Honestly, it is kind of pathetic.

So, is Beckham in the MLS a good thing or a bad thing? Both. It just depends on how you look at it. It is great for the MLS. And it is even good for Beckham to a certain extent. But, as far as his career is concerned, David Beckhams swan song has come prematurely.

Centre Backs

There were a lot of great performances in this position with a number of players having fantastic a year.

Alessandro Nesta, Juan, Rio Ferdinand, Lucio, Julien Escude, Philip Mexes, Ivan Cordoba, Daniel Jarque are among a group of players that performed very admirably at centre back last year.

Emanuel Vidic and Jamie Carragher would count themselves extremely unlucky not to have made my team but I have gone for Gabriel Milito and Ricardo Carvalho because they both had a mammoth year.

Midfielders

As always it was difficult to choose between a number of excellent performances in midfield as there just too many great players to choose from.

Daniele De Rossi, Andrea Pirlo, Florent Malouda, Paul Scholes, Robinho, Xavi, Franck Ribery, Ricardo Quaresma, Lucho Gonzalez, Miguel Veloso, Juninho, Christian Poulsen, Genaro Gatusso, Steven Gerrard, Hatem Ben Arfa, Samir Nasri and others too many to mention all had wonderful seasons.

Cesc Fabregas, Saydoo Keita and Esteban Cambiasso were desperately unlucky to get in the team but I went for Christiano Ronaldo, Michael Essien and Andres Iniesta.

Strikers

Fred Kanoute had a fantastic year as did Ruud Van Nistlerooy, Diego Milito, Kevin Kuranyi, Alexander Frei, Theofanis Gekas, Mario Gomez, Afonso Alves, Johan Elmander, Danny Koevermans, Jefferson Farfan, Klass-Jan Huntelaar, Kun Aguerro, Rodrigo Palacio, Robbie Keane and Fernando Torres.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Francesco Totti and Dimitar Berbatov would be cursing with good reason for not getting into my team but I have gone for Kaka, Lionel Messi and Didier Drogba.

Final Team

1) Iker Casillas

2) Maicon

3) Eric Abidal

4) Michael Essien

5) Gabriel Milito

6) Ricardo Carvalho

7) Christiano Ronaldo

8) Andres Iniesta

9) Didier Drogba

10) Kaka

11) Lionel Messi

"If...you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning." Catherine Aird

Do people willingly want to follow you? The real test of leadership is influence. Would your subordinates describe you as an effective manager, supervisor or team leader? Be honest with yourself. Put yourself in their shoes. Would you want to work for YOU?! If your employees' pay, perks and benefits were not dependent on doing what you ask, would they still want to follow you? If the answer is yes, you are truly a role model of leadership.

In conducting leadership training around the world for over a decade, here are the key traits I hear over and over that employees want to see in their leaders. And most of these employees are managers themselves. These traits will sound familiar to you. Yet, we need to be reminded of them. Many managers confide to me that they're so overloaded they forget about practicing many of these qualities on a regular basis.

1) Supportive/Good listener: It's been said the average person listens to what you have to say only 25% of the time. Yes, that's right. Much of the time we're caught up in our own "stuff" and we're not always listening. Listen. Think before you speak. Some people just need to be allowed to vent. Vent within reason of course. Then, they'll be more likely to listen to you.

2) Open-minded. It's hard to listen without an open mind. At least acknowledge what your employees have to say. It doesn't mean you necessarily have to agree. In order to gain respect and get your team members to follow you, sometimes you first have to show respect.

3) Honest. Do you possess personal integrity? Your team members will look to see if you do what you say you are going to do. This sounds like common-sense and it is. Yet, many in a leadership position forget this important trait. The minute you can't deliver on your promises you lose all credibility. It will be the one thing your employees will always remember. As the saying goes, "They remember your last act." Under promise and over deliver. Always do what you say you are going to do.

True Leadership = Inspiration:

4) Inspiring. True leadership = inspiration. Real leaders have a passion for what they do. They are able to transfer that enthusiasm to their employees. People want to follow someone they respect and admire. In my leadership training, a lot of managers tell me they also want a leader "who is balanced in their personal as well as professional life." They see a balanced leader as someone who walks their talk. Employees want to follow someone who has what they want.

5) Intelligent. I frequently hear the comment, "In our organization, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing." Or, "My manager really has no idea what I do for a living. What my job entails, the challenges and the time constraints." Please educate yourself on each of your team member's responsibilities. It's the only way you can speak intelligently to them and gain respect.

6) Future-oriented. Upper management should put their organization's five year, three year, and one year plan in writing and pass it out to every employee. A lot of employees don't know their organization's overall goals and objectives. An integral part of leadership is having vision, and being able to convey that vision in a way that excites and inspires team members. A great way to motivate most of your employees is to show each and every one where they fit in with the organization's big picture. Most of them want to know their purpose and how they make a difference.

Effective Leadership = Effective Social Skills:

7) Excellent communicator. Many people are promoted to leadership positions based on their "hard skills" or technical skills. Yet, most managers describe true leadership as demonstrating good interpersonal skills. Excellent leaders and managers aren't just good communicators in terms of what's expected on the job. They also make it a priority to take a sincere interest in their employees. Little things go a long way. For example, know your employee's birthdays, whether or not they have children, and acknowledge their length of service on their anniversary.

8) Fair-minded. Employees and managers alike respect leaders in an organization who are fair, objective, and "don't play favorites." They want sincere recognition for a job well done. Most employees want to be judged on their performance, not on whether or not they've got friends in high places.

9) Flexible with change. An effective leader is open to change, new ideas and taking risks. A leader who is a good role model doesn't take a "my way or the highway" approach. They're confident enough in themselves that they can give explanations for WHY a change is being made. Employees always want to know why. Managers and leaders who are secure within themselves don't need to say, "Because I'm your supervisor and I said so."

10) Leadership starts with service. Effective leadership involves rolling up your sleeves and helping others. The term "servant leadership" was coined in 1970 by Robert K. Greenleaf, former AT&T executive and founder of The Greenleaf Center for Servant-Leadership. He wrote, "It begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve, to serve first. Then conscious choice brings one to aspire to lead."

"A good example is the best sermon." Anon.

Because running should equal fun, there's no place for stiffness in the equation. This shoe has a fanned heel design that's less stiff. Plus full heel-to-toe Bounce that returns energy with each step for a supercharged ride.

The Adidas Originals Adicolor concept, came in the form of sports shoes and clothing that could be adapted by painting drawing or spraying a personal design on to the plain white canvas as it were.
The canvas being the upper of the white on white sports shoe, or the material of the apparel.

Several methods of design were possible, Adidas Adicolor pens, paintbrushes and aerosol sprays would allow the artist to customize their sports canvas. Adicolor also provided lace jewels and changeable coloured stripes to offer yet even more variation and individuality to the artist.

Adicolor is about personal expression that encourages creativity, and to pay homage to the artists and the original Adicolor collection, in 2006 Adidas released a whole new colour series to a whole new generation. In collaboration with artists and fashion icons, the new Adicolor range would be categorized in to seven different colour series. Green, Blue, Pink, Yellow, Black, Red, and of course the the original White series.

Innovative designers and Artists involved with Adicolor included Taro Okamoto from Japan who produced abstract art as well as avant-garde paintings and sculptures.

Also Emilio Pucci, an Italian fashion designer, a talented man with a strong sporting background who was known to be active in the world of politics.

In creating Adicolor, Adidas struck a chord with many of their faithful followers and introduced them to the world of art and design. An unlikely relationship, but a successful one that has brought together both art lovers and Adidas Adicolor collectors.

Players Out

Blackpool were one of a number of clubs dragged into last season's League One relegation battle but they managed to finish three points and two places above the bottom four.

It has been an intriguing summer at Bloomfield Road with the news that Latvian millionaire Valeri Belokon has concluded a deal to buy shares in the club. Belokon announced he would invest a substantial sum of money, believed to be 5 million into the League One strugglers. Belokon would like to be club president, with current chairman Karl Oyston remaining in his role. The Latvian's other business interests include a bank, brewery, newspaper, television station, fish processing, a travel agency, the Baltic Institute of Strategic Studies and a golf school.

However, players coming in to the club have not been anywhere near as glamorous. Livingston left back Paul Tierney agreed a two year contract following his free transfer from the Scottish First Division side.

Former Crewe Alexandra centre back Michael Jackson arrived on a free transfer from Tranmere Rovers and returns to Lancashire following spells at Presto North End and Bury. Swansea City winger Adrian Forbes signed a two year contract following his release from the Liberty Stadium.

Highly rated goalkeeper Les Pogliacomi returned to Oldham Athletic after being released by Blackpool at the end of last season. The Tangerines have replaced him with Rhys Evans from Swindon Town and also have veteran Lee Jones to call upon.

Verdict

The bookmakers make Blackpool one of their top eight favourites to win the division next season. Who are they trying to kid? The club has slid down the division progressively over the last three seasons and they will be fortunate not to slip into the bottom four.

adidas Little Kid's Superstar 2G Sneaker

Introduce the next generation to the iconic shell-toe style that has made the Superstar one of the most beloved adidas shoes for, well, generations.

Running shoes have evolved throughout its history, both in design and in performance.

The earliest pair of running shoes were called plimsolls. It was created using vulcanization, wherein rubber and clothe are fused together using heat. This is a technique still in use these days. These plimsolls were lightweight and comfortable, and were actually called "sneakers". In 1917, the Keds shoe company started mass producing and selling them to America.

While Keds was the first to sell trainers on the market, specialist running shoes have been around for a long time.

For example, in the late 1890's, J.W. Foster and Sons (now known as Reebok) created one of the earliest running shoes that were equipped with spikes on the underside of the shoe. The British founder of Reebok, Joseph William Foster, wanted to develop a shoe that would increase speed while running, as running and racing were his passion and primary goal driver. Thus spikes were added to the design.

The German Adi Dassler (founder of Adidas) further improved the spike technology in 1925. He created a range of shoes with hand forged spikes, with different spikes for different types of running shoes. He also used lightweight materials for easier usage and faster speed in running.

Today's running shoes are a combination of technology from its earliest conception and the demands of present day athletes. Now that podiatrics or foot medicine is integrated into the picture, running shoe designs incorporate foot health into its features. Primarily, different shoes are designed for different foot types. Today's technology have allowed vast improvements in comfort, design and performance.

There are a million of sports fans around the world. Sports rank almost number one among interests and hobbies of most people. There is a sport for every human being in this planet. If you do not have one, it is only because you did not go around looking for that one sport for you or worse you never tried any sport at all.

Every clique and every country has a favorite sport they love and extensively promote. Europe will never be the same without football. The United States of America can never have enough of the National Basketball Association and Superbowl. Sports channels like ESPN and Star Sports thrive on healthy ratings and steady support from advertisers.

It follows then sports personalities are just as well loved around the world. Michael Jordan has Nike. Kobe Bryant was once poster boy fro Adidas. Danica Patrick inspired a lot of women to get into auto racing.

David Beckham was style icon for both football fanatics and those who just think he carries of all types of clothing really well. These athletes can attest ho dressing up right can make or break a race or a game. They have to pay attention to details down to the shoes they are wearing.

Choosing the right pair of shoes is vital in almost all sports. One sports shoes chain that increasingly gaining popularity is Athletes Foot. The store name doubling as brand name is very smart. One might think that it is a bad choice considering the bad picture that comes to mind when Athletes Foot is mentioned but upon closer look you will realize that and athletes foot and footwear can make a lot of difference in the athletes over all performance. This is why Athletes Foot is a very marketable brand name because it speaks for itself.

So for athletes and would be athletes, it is safe to go into one outlet and go over the various brands and designs that these brands have to offer. For sure they have all sorts but one thing that people, both athletes and non-athletes, should have is a pair of sneakers. A pair of sneakers is basic footwear that is ever comfortable and dependable for everyday wear. It is then acceptable to splurge on an expensive but quality wise worth it sneakers. A person should have at least one pair or better yet two so one can alternate.

India is fast becoming the retail destination of the world. According to the international management consultant AT Kearney, India has emerged as the leader in terms of retail opportunities. The retail market in India is anticipated to grow to 427 billion USD by the year 2010.

However, the face of the Indian retail industry is changing. India is passing through a retail boom today. A number of changes have taken place on the Indian retail front such as increasing availability of international brands, increasing number of malls and hypermarkets and easy availability of retail space. With the Indian government having opened up the doors for FDI, the entry of foreign retailers into the country has become easier. India has come a long way from the traditional Kirana stores and is on its way to becoming a mall country. The emphasis has shifted from reasonable pricing to convenience, efficiency and ambience.

The major factors fuelling this change are the increase in disposable income of the people, improving lifestyles, increasing international exposure and increasing awareness among the customers. India has a large middle class as well as youth population, which has contributed greatly to the retail phenomenon. The middle class is considered to be a major potential customer group. The youth are perceived as trend setters and decision makers. Tourist spending in India is increasing, which has also prompted the retail boom.

Food and grocery are the two categories in the Indian retail sector which offer the most promising opportunities. Apart from this, the other areas where there are vast possibilities for Indian retailers are jewellery, apparel and consumer durables. Indian retailers are also trying to create a niche for themselves in areas such as books, gifts and music.

The Indian retail industry is going through a period of golden sunshine.

Fibre2fashion discusses on certain issues concerning the Indian retail industry with Mr. Andreas Gellner, Managing Director, Adidas India:

Mr. Gellner, expressing his view on the present scenario in the Indian retail sector, states that by now, it is fair to assess that the outlook is very bright, but currently, the potential and dynamics are somehow overhyped. Undersupply of suitable spaces and manpower have driven both critical cost components to levels where it is very difficult for many retailers to make profits (not to talk about generating funds for further expansion). The service tax on rentals, of course, was the final blow to many profitability models.

He went on to further state that the long-term future is very promising, but the next few years will remain extremely challenging. While speaking about the current mall culture in India, he believed that the malls as places to congregate and spend time for shopping and other activities have been well accepted.

Tuesday's best game will surprise you and that is the Piston-Hornets matchup. The blowout game should not necessarily surprise the avid basketball fan with Lebron going up against the Knicks.

Best: Pistons @ Hornets: The Hornets have won handily against San Antonio and Miami at home and this game should be a struggle for Detroit. Expect a sellout and raucous crowd to be against the Pistons, who havent shown up in games against weak opponents more than they do versus strong ones. The Pistons are coming into this game on a sliding note.Predicted Score: New Orleans/Oklahoma City wins in a shocker 101-98

Runner-up: Celtics @ Hawks: Is it even possible for any team to be swept by the Hawks? Thats what the Celtics face when they head into Atlanta having already suffered a pair of losses to Atlanta. It doesnt say much for your playoff chances when you struggle to beat the Hawks. I have to imagine Paul Pierce will step up and lead them over Atlanta. Predicted Score: Boston wins on the road 113-108

Blowout: Knicks @ Cavaliers: The Knicks have done badly against teams that are flat-out stronger and more physical than they are. The smaller Knicks have PG-playing-SG Jamal Crawford defending LeBron James, which is a recipe for disaster. Predicted Score: Cleveland wins handily in a double digit blowout 109-94

Name virtually any outdoor sport and chances are it requires or at least involves the use of sunglasses this includes golf. And this makes sense. After all, the game is played outdoors, where the risk of getting a full dose of ultraviolet radiation is the greatest. Golf sunglasses, like many other types of outdoor eyewear, help protect the eyes from these harmful ultraviolet rays. Using the right type of sunglasses often enough would help prevent eye diseases like cataracts, macular degeneration, and photokeratitis. Plus, sunglasses for golfers look very good on them, too!

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, so the old saying goes. And what could be easier for golfers to prevent eye problems caused by sun exposure than slipping on a pair of golf sunglasses? And it looks like a lot of professional players are taking this adage to heart. Weve seen them on television wearing sunglasses for golfers: Karrie Webb, David Duval, Annika Sorenstam, to name a few. And various types of golf sunglasses have been endorsed by the sports superstars such as Tiger Woods for Nike. Since golf has become a much higher-profile sport, golfing accessories, apparel and paraphernalia have increased consumer awareness about them, too. In fact, sunglasses for golfers have enlarged their share in the global market for sunglasses.

There are various styles and designs to fit every golfers need. Golf eyewear with polarized lenses is especially helpful on bright, sunny days because they cut down the glare from sunlight that bounces off some surfaces. Different tints play a role, too, in how golfers view a course. Lenses that are amber in color filter blue light, and these are reputed to enhance viewing of far-off objects. Yellow and orange lenses are ideal for low-light conditions, while clear lenses are good for darker conditions. Some sunglasses for golfers also come with changeable lens systems just snap in the lenses that are most suited for the current playing conditions. Whether ones choice of sunglasses has dark or light lenses, it is important to remember that it should have excellent ultraviolet protection; some people mistakenly think that there is little or no risk of ultraviolet radiation on overcast days, but that simply isnt so. UVA and UVB rays are just as dangerous on a cloudy day as they are on a sunny one.

Certain considerations should also be remembered regarding the frames of golf sunglasses. They need to fit well and be comfortable. Many golfers prefer those whose frames are made of lightweight materials, such as polyamide. The object is to feel that they are not there. It can really be distracting to have to continually adjust ill-fitting temple grips or nose pads just when youre about to tee off or make your drive. Wraparound sunglasses for golfers are also a good option. They prevent ultraviolet radiation from entering from the top or the sides of the eyewear. They are also helpful in shielding the eyes from airborne irritants like sand, pollen, and dust.

A person who needs corrective eyewear need not feel apprehensive about buying sunglasses for golfers. Many manufacturers offer prescription sunglasses designed for outdoor sports. Just look at their online or offline catalogs, select the desired design, inform them of the needed prescription, and voila! Youll be wearing them in no time at all. The budget-conscious can choose from lines of lower-priced prescription or non-prescription sunglasses at discount sites or in optical shops but its important to make sure that you are getting value for your money. Theres no sense in buying inexpensive golf sunglasses if they cant give you the protection you need. For the fashion-conscious golfer who is not averse to shelling out more money for his or her sports eyewear, high-end brands may offer what they want: Tag Heuer, Oakley, Nike, Adidas, Maui Jim, Dior, to name a few.

Players, coaches, caddies, even spectators all can benefit from the use of golf sunglasses. Looks are important, but they are secondary. What is essential is having a pair of shades that one can put on and forget about, leaving it do its work of protecting the eyes from the punishing sunlight, from flying debris that can cause irritation, and maybe even from the prying gaze of the competition as he or she seeks to divine your playing strategy. Golf sunglasses are perfect for enhancing performance and for preventive eye care!

The usual gymnastics wear for women during competition is the leotard. It is a skin-tight, one-piece garment that covers the upper body but leaves the legs free, made famous by Jules Leotard, a French acrobatic artist.

By tradition, leotards worn during competitions have long sleeves. Some changes have recently taken place where half-length sleeved and sleeveless versions have been worn by competitors.

The Code of Points already permits this type of wear to be worn by teams at the World Gymnastics Championships and other major meets. During practice, gymnasts usually wear sleeveless styles.

Individual gymnasts and teams may be penalized for some faults in the way they wear their competition attire. The correct way of wearing the leotards is that it must neither ride too high nor be out too low on the hip.

The materials used have also changed over time. Polyester and related fabrics were very typical in the 1970s. Lycra and spandex became popular since the 1980s.

More sophisticated fabrics have been made since the 1990s. Velvet, velour, mesh, metallic fabrics, foils and sparkling "hologram" fabric have also revolutionized gymnastics wear.

There are styles that are adorned with rhinestones and metallic jewels. These are set on the fabric using heat so that they do not fall off when washed.

Gymnasts may wear any hair style and hair length, but should always keep long hair tied back into a ponytail, bun or braid. To make them look tidier, hair ties that match their competition leotards are given to gymnasts.

Any type of leotard could be worn by gymnasts during trainings and practice. The usual attires worn by women during physical exercises in combination with their sleeveless leotards are leggings, shorts, bicycle shorts or tank tops. However, as part of their gymnastics wear, they must always see to it that their hair is tied.

Cool! Finally, I can break down branding with a popular example that works for everyone.

Check this:

Hillary Clinton's win in New Hampshire is a perfect example of branding, or re-branding. If you're the least bit fuzzy about the meaning of branding or the power of branding, all you need do is think about the Senators comeback.

First of all, lets get the definition of "brand" down.

A brand is a label or name of a person or thing.

When I was a kid my mom brought me "offbrand" shoes, all it meant was they didn't have a popular logo.

Sikes is not Nikes.

Adidas has three stripes not four.

And Lacoste has an alligator not a giraffe.

I'm sure you get it.

Branding is just applying your name or company's name to something, that something can be a shoe, a car, a building, a wine, BUT branding can also be an idea or feeling or a market position.

Here's the part you may not know, a brand is NOT what you say you are, a brand is what other's say you are or what you appear to be.

Which leads me back to Senator Clinton.

Hillary Clinton's Old Brand was seen by many to be:

Bill's Wife, Smart, The Establishment, Firm, Emotionless, Angry, Tough, Robotic, Closed Off, Overly Formal

...but after her emotional moment (her action) in New Hampshire, many female voters got a different opinion of Hillary Clinton, The brand.

Hillary Clinton's New Brand in the eyes of many female voters quickly became:

Bill's Wife, Smart, Down-to-Earth, Everyday Woman, Human, Emotionally Connected, Open.

Believe it.

With that one action (replayed about a thousand times) we saw the power of branding on crack.

Think about it.

Regardless to how you feel about Clinton, you can see the pure power of branding.

When I'm helping to brand one of my clients, I'm trying to make their company name (or brand) identifiable with a great selling idea as Hillary rebranded herself from the emotionless, robotic, Senator and former President's wife (not a very good selling position) to the warmer, more likable, down-to-earth, Senator, former President's wife (a much better selling position).

And look what happened.

She won New Hampshire.

Most new business owners don't take advantage of branding power. Look at it this way, re-branding brought Hillary back from 13 points down 24 hours before the vote. What do you think a positive selling brand image can get you if you start right now?

Email me if you need help on branding your small business or solo-operation.

One of the most important components of a cheerleaders uniform is her shoes. The type of shoe that a team wears can make the different between a safe and success season or a season full of failed stunts, injuries, and tons of blisters. To make sure that you start out your cheer career on the right foot, here are a few guidelines that can help you choose the right shoe.

  • The Cost of Comfort: Price can be a major factor when deciding what shoes to purchase for the individual or the team. Often times cheerleading squads are under strict budget limitations or need to partake in fundraising events in order to purchase equipment. Unfortunately, a cheap shoe is not always going to be the best choice. When it comes to cheerleading shoes, often times you get what you pay for. Cheaper shoes can be lower in quality, less comfortable, and not as durable as their expensive counterparts. There are however discount vendors or vendors that will offer a discount when ordering in large quantities. Make sure to do your research before purchasing your shoes to make sure you get the best shoe for the best price.
  • The Perfect Fit: Comfort is a big issue when it comes to selecting the perfect shoe. There are a few qualities that you will need to look for in a shoe if you want to make sure you choose the right one. The most important factor to consider when purchasing a cheerleading shoe is the level of support it will offer. You will need a shoe that will take you through all the stunts and jumps you will be doing throughout the year. You should also look for a lightweight shoe that allows your foot to breath. Finger grooves on the soles of the shoe will also be a useful addition that will help you through stunts where you or your cheermates will be lifted into the air. If you choose shoes that are not adequate enough, you will put yourself at risk for injury and discomfort the entire season.
  • Added Bonuses: There are a few more things to consider in your search for shoes besides affordability and comfort. Obviously the availability of your teams colors and the style your team prefers is going to play a role in what shoes to purchase. It is also important to consider what type of activities you and your team will be engaging in. If your routines are comprised of mainly difficult stunts and rigorous jumps and flips, it may be best to consider shoes that are made specifically for that. Look for brands that offer optimum cushions and flexibility. Some of the brands that are popular are Adidas, Asics, Kaepa, and Nike.
  • Time Restraints: One more thing to consider before you buy shoes, especially if youre ordering them, is the amount of time it will take for them to get to you. If you are ordering shoes for the entire team and have a performance or competition in a few days time, it may be best to find a company that has clean customer service record and can deliver your shoes on time.

Who will be the next manager of Man United when Sir Alex Ferguson finally decides to step down? One thing is for sure, it will certainly be a difficult appointment. At the moment many see Martin O'Neill as the favourite to take over from Sir Alex however I have a hunch for a person who thus far has not even been mentioned for the position.

No one can argue that Sir Alex Ferguson has performed supremely well since becoming the manager of what many consider to be the best football team in the world, Manchester United. It will be very hard for whoever takes over from Sir Alex to fill his shoes as they say.

There are numerous foreign managers who, as usual, will be in contention for the role. I would hope that an English manager could be appointed and have a strong feeling that the son of Sir Alex, Darren Ferguson, could have a great chance. Yes I know what your thinking, that I am a little crazy, but lets look at the facts. Both Sir Alex and Darren were not the best of players but did reach a fairly high standard, Darren is likely to have learnt a lot from his father, Darren is doing supremely well with Peterborough United, the team he currently manages.

At this stage Darren would be a big outsider but what would happen if he continued to have success at Peterborough? What would also happen if Sir Alex Ferguson recommended his son for the role? Take it from me in a couple years time Darren Ferguson could well be the favourite to take over from his father at Manchester United.

I am not a United supporter, I actually support my local team Birmingham City. I feel that the appointment of Darren would be a real "Roy of the Rovers" football story and would love to see it happen.

My vote would be that Darren Ferguson takes over as manager with Paul Ince as his assistant, what a management team that could be!
